PARTⅡ- The Lesson 1.ASKING FOR NEWS
How was the trip?
Where did you go?
How long were you away?
How long were you away for?
How's Peter getting on these days?
(i) He's fine.(谈Peter身倦怎样)
(ii) Very well.
He's got a bookshop now.(谈Peter其他情况)
Where's Peter working?
How long has he been there?
What's his job?
It's been raining for hours.
What a day!(意思是:What a wet/awful day!)
It's warm and sunny.
What a day!(意思是:What a beautiful day!)
She's very clever.
What a wife!(意思是:What a clever wife!)
She's wonderful.
What a wife!(意思是:What a wonderful wife!)
